2022–2023	Spiky DJ; Mifella on Ethereum	A Remilia-adjacent avant character. Monk Antony: Mifella “struggling to mint out on Solana as the first of its kind on this new chain.” The community jokes that Mifella would only mint out once the artist died. This joke becomes lore: Mifella sacrifices himself to birth the scene, resulting in Crucifella.
2022–2023	The Mifella schism (Ethereum → Solana)	A faction splits from Milady/Remilia and migrates to Solana. The schism point is the Mifella collection by Spiky DJ. From this fork: cuckcore, VVV.so, Yeche Lange gallery, and eventually the schizocollage idiom.
2023 (Mar)	Evil Biscuit, Drifella	The first major schizocollage work: a punk mash-up of Milady, Mifella, and Dratini. Announced on X March 2023.
2023	Evil Biscuit, The Constant Fella	The Crucifella appears here; considered by some as Mifella 1.5. Lowbie called it a direct bridge to Drifella III’s large-scale painterly turn.
2023	Ann Hirsch + Maya Man, Ugly Bitches	GAN-processed dolls paired with algorithmically drawn Instagram comments. Droitcour positions this adjacent to schizocollage as the AI-synthesis pole.
2024	Evil Biscuit, Drifella 2	The turn toward distortion. Earlier Drifellas were clearer; Drifella 2 is more mature, less legible.
2024 (Apr–May)	Parker Ito / CreamyDreamy enters Solana NFTs	Driladys — a play on @dril and “ladies/fellas” — collected on Solana. Ito’s long institutional career gives the scene a bridge to the gallery world.
2024	Supermetal Bosch, Little Swag World	AI-smoothed fashion figurines derived from mood-board collages. Exhibited at Yeche Lange in dialogue with Evil Biscuit.
2025	Evil Biscuit, Drifella III	1,333 rooms × 3,999 paintings; the canonical exemplar of schizocollage in its most developed form.
2025 (Feb)	Brian Droitcour, Seams and Synthesis (Le Random)	The first critical essay naming schizocollage as a formal category and opposing it to AI synthesis.

Open genealogical questions

• The Hamilton-Warhol-Bacon-Rothko-Paolozzi-Cézanne line. Bauman names them explicitly. No source shows the practitioners themselves citing these names. The lineage is critic-imposed scaffolding. Legitimate to note as such.
• The Hamburg school. Monk Antony suggested the Hamburg school “has a lot in common with this schizocollage/avant gay scene” in a reply thread. The connection remains anecdotal; no practitioner has claimed it.
