Network spirituality is Charlotte Fang’s name for the post-authorship condition Milady inaugurated and the schizocollage scene extended on Solana. A character — a body plan, a costume, a name — passes between artists’ hands. No single author owns the lineage. The work is the lineage.
The Milady drip-score system already pointed this way. A Milady’s value depended in part on community-judged “drip” rather than purely combinatorial trait rarity, which softened the mint-equals-author equation that earlier PFP collections enforced. After the May 2022 Cancel, the Solana avant scene took the principle further. Mifella, by Spiky DJ, was a Remilia-adjacent character that completed its mint only by being conceptually sacrificed — community lore claimed Mifella would mint out only when the artist died, and the joke became architectural: Mifella’s narrative death seeded Crucifella (the religious-armature variant in Evil Biscuit’s The Constant Fella), which in turn became the bridge to Drifella III’s room-scale Dratini-silhouette compositions. The chain runs Mifella → Drifella → Crucifella → Drilady → Luhfella, with each link authored by a different hand.
This is post-authorship not as deconstruction but as scene-condition. To work in the schizocollage idiom is to inherit characters and make new ones available for inheritance. The lineage is the medium.
The framework arrived intact from Milady, but the scene’s relationship to the originator is unresolved on the public record. No practitioner statement has surfaced addressing Fang’s Cancel directly; the frameworks are inherited, the founder’s controversies are inherited, and the silence about both is itself part of the texture.
